Greg Gutfeld is going on Jimmy Fallon — and he’s already joking about it

Greg Gutfeld, host of the top-rated Gutfeld! on Fox News, is heading into unfamiliar territory and he’s bringing his signature humor with him.

The late-night provocateur will appear Thursday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, in what’s shaping up to be one of the most unexpected TV moments of the week.

Gutfeld Meets Fallon — and the Jonas Brothers?

The crossover will happen on NBC’s iconic Studio 6B stage at Rockefeller Center which is just blocks from Fox News headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. Gutfeld couldn’t help but tease the moment ahead of time.

“It’s the biggest crossover since the Harlem Globetrotters visited ‘The Golden Girls,’” he joked.

Also joining Fallon on Thursday night? The Jonas Brothers and Good Charlotte. That didn’t stop Gutfeld from tossing in another joke:

“A lot of people don’t know this, but I was one of the original [Jonas Brothers] until they booted me out for being too hot.”

Not Your Average Late-Night Guest

While Fallon has been known for his relatively apolitical approach, Gutfeld made it clear that this appearance is more than just late-night fluff. It’s a moment of rare crossover between mainstream media and cable’s most-watched conservative voice.

“Unlike the other guys, Fallon doesn’t live in a liberal echo chamber,” Gutfeld said. “Sitting with me proves he’s not afraid of upsetting his peers — or afraid of my mesmerizing charm.”

He also praised Fallon for what many critics once panned: his friendly, lighthearted 2016 interview with then-candidate Donald Trump.

“Remember, he was destroyed for humanizing Trump by messing up his hair,” Gutfeld said. “The angry mob wanted a brutal takedown, but Jimmy had fun which is criminal to the liberal hive.”

Gutfeld!’s Reign at the Top

Gutfeld isn’t just cracking jokes, he’s currently dominating the late-night ratings. His Fox News show Gutfeld! consistently outdraws rivals on NBC, CBS, and ABC, making him the unexpected king of late-night TV.

He also remains a core member of The Five, Fox’s early evening panel show that continues to be the most-watched news program in America, according to July ratings.

“If He Wants to Ruffle My Hair…”

As for what might happen on Fallon’s couch? Gutfeld says he’s open to anything, even if history repeats itself.

“If he wants to run his fingers through my hair, I will not complain,” Gutfeld joked. “After all, the last time he did that, the guy became president.”

Catch the episode Thursday at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC, and get ready for a night where media worlds collide, with Greg Gutfeld right in the middle.
