Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov pushes back after Trump calls for her removal
A growing dispute between Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov and President Donald Trump has taken center stage following remarks about a proposed ceasefire with Iran.
During a recent appearance on Fox News’ The Five, Tarlov questioned Trump’s claim that a two-week ceasefire had been reached. “I stand, I think, in reality that there is no ceasefire,” she said, describing how ongoing coverage showed continued attacks across the region despite the announcement.

Tarlov explained that while the White House presented the agreement as progress, the situation on the ground appeared unchanged. “There were split screens between ‘White House announces ceasefire’ and missiles raining down on the Israelis,” she noted, adding that activity involving Israel, Iran, and Lebanon suggested the conflict had not paused.
Ceasefire claim draws scrutiny
According to the discussion on The Five, the ceasefire announcement came shortly after Trump said Iran had presented a 10-point proposal that could serve as a “workable basis” for negotiations. However, Tarlov said she saw no evidence to support the idea that hostilities had stopped.
She pointed to continued military exchanges, including Israeli strikes and developments in Lebanon, calling it one of the most severe periods in terms of casualties. “The ceasefire was a complete fiction,” she said, later reiterating the same view in a post on X.
In that post, Tarlov added that the situation on the ground did not match official messaging, writing that missiles were still being launched across multiple areas despite the announcement.
Tensions escalate between trump and fox host
The exchange comes amid an ongoing clash between Trump and Tarlov. In a recent post on Truth Social, the president directly called on Fox News executives to remove her from the network.
“Take Jessica Tarlov off the air,” Trump wrote, continuing with sharp criticism of her role on television. He described her as “one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television” and labeled her “a real loser.”
The remarks followed previous criticism from Trump directed at Fox News programming and its contributors. Despite that, Tarlov has continued to publicly challenge his positions, including her latest comments on the ceasefire.
The situation highlights a widening divide between the Fox News host and the former president, as both continue to address the same issue from sharply different perspectives.

I don’t watch The Five when Tarlov is on. She is arrogant and is full of lies. She is a true Democrat. Harold Ford is a democrat but his views are more reasonable then arrogant Tarlov. I watch Newsmax when she is on. I know a lot of it is staged and is meant to boost ratings. But her argumentative boisterous attitude is too much for me to watch.
