The revoked green light has sparked disappointment among the Nerazzurri supporters who were preparing “hell” for their former star.
Inter fans are not happy, and they are protesting because, after the initial green light, the whistles prepared for Lukaku’s return to San Siro have been banned. Lukaku is considered guilty of leaving Inzaghi’s team during the summer, after the Champions League final, and signing with Mourinho’s Roma.

“Ten thousand whistles in Florence two years ago were fine, and now it’s not allowed. The law is not the same for everyone. Another abuse,” wrote the Inter fans on social media, in anticipation of the match against Roma and their former star.
The precedent relates to the 2022 Fiorentina-Juventus match when Fiorentina supporters whistled on Vlahovic‘s return to the Franchi using these small and noisy instruments.
