Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson have offered a rare personal glimpse into their closely guarded wedding celebrations, sharing a quiet post from bed shortly after their island wedding weekend.
While images from the ceremonies themselves have not been released publicly, the newlyweds chose to mark the moment with a simple black-and-white Instagram Story featuring their hands resting together beneath the covers, their wedding bands clearly visible.
The message accompanying the image was brief: “Forever yours, forever mine.”
The post was shared by Anderson and later reposted by Trump Jr. A second message from the bride added another personal note, stating that “the whole point is to marry your best friend.”
Inside the private celebration
The social media update followed a wedding weekend that remained largely out of public view.
Trump Jr. and Anderson legally married in Palm Beach on Thursday before continuing with a smaller ceremony in The Bahamas on Saturday attended by roughly 40 guests, according to the information provided.
The guest list centered on family and close supporters. Trump Jr.’s five children with former wife Vanessa Trump were present, along with siblings Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump.
President Donald Trump did not attend the ceremony, citing responsibilities in Washington.
“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr, and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” the president said in a statement released Friday.
He added that remaining at the White House during what he described as an important period was necessary, while congratulating the couple.
Wedding details begin to surface
Although the ceremonies themselves were kept private, additional details have begun to emerge through family comments and media reporting.
Speaking to Page Six, Eric Trump praised the couple and reflected on their relationship.
“Don and Bettina are wonderful together. I’m so proud to have witnessed so much of their journey as a couple,” he told the outlet.
“They truly light up around each other and it’s been amazing watching their story unfold. Couldn’t be happier for them on their special day.”
Page Six also reported that celebrity event planner Lewis Miller Design handled wedding planning duties. The cake was created by Sweet Stacy’s in Palm Beach, while the menu calligraphy was done by Bernard Maisner.
The wedding weekend marked the latest chapter in a relationship that culminated with Trump Jr.’s proposal to Anderson during her birthday trip to Camp David in December after two years together.
Earlier this year, at Anderson’s Enchanted Garden-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago, Trump Jr. reportedly told guests: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina.”
