A young woman goes to a psychiatrist and says,
“I don’t want to get married. I’m educated, independent, and self-sufficient. I don’t need a husband. But my parents keep insisting that I should marry. What should I do?”
The psychiatrist nods and replies,
“You’re absolutely capable of achieving great things in life. But there will be times when things don’t go as planned. You may fail. Your efforts might not work out. Some of your wishes won’t be fulfilled.”
The woman listens carefully.
He continues,
“When that happens, who will you blame? Will you blame yourself?”
She quickly replies,
“No.”
The psychiatrist smiles and says,
“Exactly. That’s why you need a husband.”
