Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump make major relationship move after shocking DUI arrest drama

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have taken a significant step following the recent DUI arrest, with Woods now entering a rehabilitation program in Switzerland as part of his recovery.

The golf legend, 50, is currently receiving treatment at a facility in Zurich after his March 27 crash, which led to DUI-related charges. According to the Daily Mail and The Post, Woods has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to appear in court on May 5.

Inside Woods’ treatment and recovery process

Woods is believed to be enrolled in a 90-day rehabilitation program that focuses on both physical recovery and psychological care. Sources told the Daily Mail that his treatment is described as “intense,” with structured medical support aimed at addressing long-standing pain issues.

A source cited by the outlet revealed that Woods is working closely with a pain management doctor to control his condition without relying on addictive opioids. “He’s got a pain management doctor who is helping him deal with his body pain without addictive opioids,” the insider said.

The same source noted that Woods has limited communication with the outside world, staying in touch with only a small circle that includes Vanessa Trump, his children, and his agent, Mark Steinberg. “He calls or Zooms a small number of people,” the insider added, emphasizing his focus on recovery.

Despite the structured nature of the program, Woods reportedly has the option to leave at any time.

Vanessa Trump’s support during a critical period

As questions emerged about the stability of their relationship following the arrest, Vanessa Trump has remained visibly supportive. “He’s responding well to treatment, and Vanessa is very happy with what she’s hearing,” the source told the Daily Mail.

Days after the incident, Trump publicly showed her support by sharing a photo of the couple on Instagram with the caption “Love you,” accompanied by heart emojis.

According to reports, she has also been firm in her expectations, making it clear that professional help was necessary as Woods confronts yet another driving-related incident in a history that includes a 2017 DUI arrest and previous crashes in 2009 and 2021.

Focus shifts away from golf amid ongoing recovery

Woods’ rehabilitation has also shifted his attention away from competition. Although he had hoped to play in the Masters, he is now prioritizing recovery over a return to the course.

Bodycam footage from the arrest captured Woods telling officers he was “hoping to” compete, but acknowledged that it “depends on y’all.” In his absence, Rory McIlroy went on to win his second consecutive green jacket.

A breathalyzer test at the scene reportedly showed no alcohol in his system, though officers noted signs of impairment. Police also recovered hydrocodone pills from his pocket, and Woods refused to submit to a urine test.

For now, those close to Woods indicate that his focus remains firmly on recovery — with Vanessa Trump continuing to play a central role in his support system during this period.
