Jessica Tarlov announces major career move after Trump calls her a ‘loser’
Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov is moving forward with a major new project, making a high-profile announcement as her public feud with President Donald Trump continues to unfold.
The 42-year-old Democratic strategist, best known as a co-host on Fox News’ The Five, revealed on Instagram on April 15 that she is releasing her debut book, I Disagree, marking a significant step beyond her television role.

The announcement comes in the immediate aftermath of Trump’s public attack, in which he called for her removal and labeled her “a real loser.”
A new chapter beyond television
Tarlov introduced the project as a response to a question she says she hears constantly from viewers.
“BIG personal news: I wrote a book! And it’s good. I promise. It comes out on September 15th!” she wrote, explaining that the book centers on how she handles high-pressure political debates.
She said the curiosity comes from audiences across the political spectrum who watch her on The Five and wonder how she manages intense exchanges on air.
“It’s not just Democrats that ask me. It’s people of all political stripes… they want to know how I stay true to my values, find common ground where it’s available, and communicate across political and social divides,” she wrote.
According to Tarlov, the book draws on her own experiences along with elements of social science to offer guidance on navigating difficult conversations.
She described it as a practical approach to building confidence and handling disagreements in situations ranging from personal discussions to national television appearances.
“I DISAGREE is available for pre-order now… and comes out on September 15th,” she added, inviting her audience to engage with the project.
Strong reaction as feud remains in focus
The response to her announcement was overwhelmingly positive, including support from across political lines.
One commenter wrote, “As a maga republican, I’m so excited for this!!!” while another added, “TAKEEEE ALLLLL MY MONIEEEES… I’ll listen, read, and do whatever you say, Miss Tarlov.”
Others simply expressed excitement, with messages like, “Woo hoo!! Can’t wait!” and “Oh my goodness. I cannot wait to read. Congratulations.”
A separate comment referenced her on-air dynamic with co-host Greg Gutfeld, joking, “Did you give Greg Gutfeld the first copy?”
The announcement arrives against the backdrop of an ongoing clash, with Trump recently posting on Truth Social: “Take Jessica Tarlov off the air… one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television… a real loser.”
The latest development adds a new dimension to the dispute, as Tarlov continues to expand her platform while remaining a prominent voice on Fox News.
The moment underscores a growing divide, with her new project emerging at the same time political tensions between the two remain firmly in the spotlight.
