Jenny Marrs and Dave Marrs are celebrating a new milestone shortly after marking 21 years of marriage, reflecting on the growth of their business and personal journey.
The couple recently commemorated the first anniversary of their retail space, Marrs on Main, located just off their town’s historic downtown square.
Jenny shared the update in an April 9 Instagram post, revealing that the moment felt especially meaningful given their history. She noted that this was not their first time opening a shop in a similar setting, pointing to an earlier chapter in their lives.
A Look Back at Where It All Began
The Fixer to Fabulous star recalled launching Bayt Boutique in 2012, describing it as a space created to support their adoption journey. At the time, the couple sold handcrafted furniture built by Dave along with restored vintage decor.
Jenny explained that the store’s name was inspired by the Amharic language spoken in Ethiopia, where they had begun the adoption process for their daughter, with “Bayt” meaning “house, home or a dwelling place.”
She reflected on how their current store represents a “full circle” moment, expressing hope that Marrs on Main continues to serve as a welcoming and uplifting place within the community.
Family, Business, and a Growing Legacy
Jenny and Dave, who married in 2005, began the process of adopting their eldest daughter, Sylvie, in 2012. The adoption was finalized in 2013, though a government shutdown delayed her arrival in the United States until 2014.
The couple are now parents to five children and have expanded their business ventures over the years, including opening Marrs Mercantile in Centerton, Arkansas, in 2023. Marrs on Main, located in Bentonville, opened the following year.
Jenny’s post also included throwback images from their earlier boutique, along with recent family photos and moments from the launch of their latest store.
