The first qualified teams for Euro 2024
In addition to the host nation Germany, France, Belgium, and Portugal, who won their respective head-to-head matches against the Netherlands, Austria, and Slovakia are now through and qualified for the Europe’s biggest tournament next year.
France and Portugal lead their groups with a perfect score, while Belgium has five victories with only one draw. Below are the standings of all the groups and the qualification criteria.
How does the qualifications work?
23 national teams will join the host nation Germany to form the European Championship. The first 20 spots will be determined by the group stage qualifiers. The top two teams from each group will go to Germany. The remaining three spots will go to the winners of the playoffs (based on the results of the Nations League).
