Maria Bartiromo has announced her next professional appearance following her reported dismissal from Fox News and Fox Business Network.
The longtime broadcaster will host the America Business Forum in downtown Miami in December, moderating conversations during a two-day event presented to a live audience and broadcast globally.
Organizers announced her involvement on Thursday, offering the clearest indication yet of her next steps after leaving television.
The announcement concerns an event hosting role; it does not include a new permanent television position.
Bartiromo prepares to take the stage in Miami
Bartiromo described the upcoming gathering as a different opportunity after decades spent interviewing prominent figures and covering business news.

“In over 30 years in this industry, I’ve stood on hundreds of stages. The floor, the studio, the streets. But nothing quite like this,” she said in a press release.
“I’ll take you inside the conversations that will challenge how we think, expand what we believe is possible, and inspire what comes next.”
She also narrated a promotional video introducing the forum and its ambitions.
“At one of the most defining moments in human history, the voices shaping our future come together on one stage,” Bartiromo said.
The appearance will put her back in a public interviewing role, drawing on the experience she developed throughout her broadcasting career.
Tickets begin at $399 for a package aimed at professionals, entrepreneurs and advanced students. At the other end of the pricing scale, a $10,000 “Diamond” package is being marketed to decision-makers, investors and others interested in shaping the future.
The announcement follows her reported Fox dismissal
According to The Daily Beast, Bartiromo, 59, was fired from Fox News and Fox Business Network last month after reportedly sharing internal company information with the White House.
She has maintained a relatively low public profile since her departure.
The outlet reported that her posts on X since September 13 have largely consisted of brief messages supporting current and former Trump administration figures, including Howard Lutnick, Karoline Leavitt, Susie Wiles and JD Vance, as well as former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
Another potential career opportunity reportedly arose before the Miami announcement.
Axios reported this month that President Donald Trump wanted Bartiromo to become his next White House press secretary, but she declined.
Her forum hosting role now provides a specific upcoming engagement, although the announcement does not establish what her longer-term career plans might involve.
Public appearances offer glimpses of her next chapter
Bartiromo has made several appearances since leaving Fox.

A few weeks after her exit, she attended Melania Trump’s Imperial Summit at the New York Stock Exchange. The gathering focused on the global economic power of women.
Radio host Sid Rosenberg also said she had visited the White House the previous week, although the reason for that visit was unclear.
Her December engagement will take place immediately after the G20 summit at Trump’s golf club in Miami.
Trump spoke at the previous America Business Forum, but his participation in this year’s gathering had not been confirmed in the report. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
For now, Bartiromo’s next announced move will bring her to a Miami stage, leading conversations before a live audience as she begins her professional life beyond Fox.
