Bettina Anderson has shared a heartfelt public message of support for Erika Kirk after spending two days in a Utah courtroom alongside her husband, Donald Trump Jr., during proceedings related to the death of Charlie Kirk.
In a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, Anderson praised Charlie Kirk’s widow for the way she has handled an extraordinarily difficult period, describing herself as “in awe” of Erika’s strength and courage.
“There are no words that can fully capture the weight of this moment,” Anderson wrote, adding that standing with the Kirk family had been a powerful reminder of “the love, strength and faith” surrounding them.
She continued by commending Erika’s resilience throughout the proceedings.
“Erika has carried herself with extraordinary grace and courage, and we are in awe of her strength,” Anderson wrote.

Calling for truth through the legal process
Alongside her message of support, Anderson addressed the ongoing court case, urging people to allow the judicial process to run its course.
She said the evidence presented during the first two days of hearings, including extensive video footage, would answer many of the questions that had been replaced by what she described as speculation and false narratives.
“As this judicial process moves forward, we have deep respect for the seriousness of the court, the evidence being presented, and the pursuit of truth, accountability and justice,” she wrote.
Anderson also defended Erika Kirk against what she described as unfair public attention.

“There is a PROFOUND difference between seeking truth through the judicial process and spreading lies for attention,” she said, adding that Erika, her children and Charlie Kirk’s family deserved “respect, dignity, and compassion.”
She concluded her message by honoring Charlie Kirk’s legacy and reaffirming her family’s continued support.
“Our prayers are with them always,” Anderson wrote.
Family statement and case update
Before the hearings began, Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk’s family also released a joint statement addressing the difficult process ahead.
They described every court appearance as a painful reminder of their loss while thanking supporters for the prayers and kindness shown to the family.

The statement also asked for privacy and confirmed they would not comment further while the judicial process continues.
The case centers on Tyler Robinson, 23, who is accused of fatally shooting Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, 2025, during a debate event at Utah Valley University.
According to the information provided, Robinson faces seven criminal charges, including aggravated murder. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, and if the judge finds probable cause following the preliminary hearing, Robinson will enter a plea during his arraignment.
During the hearing, Erika Kirk became emotional and briefly left the courtroom before returning as proceedings continued.
