Tuchel doesn’t give up on Pavard: ‘The request arrived late.’ Bayern has a plan B ready.

The Bayern coach had to say a lot about the defender thats on verge of joining Inter : He’s not on strike; he just missed one training session, but he’s doing well with us.

Speaking at a press conference, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel provided an update on Benjamin Pavard using words that might not sit well with Inter fans and management, who have had an agreement for the player’s transfer for some time:

He has asked to leave, but the request came very late. That’s one point, and then we have to consider the contractual situation. This whole situation surprised me a bit.”

“We have to think about our club’s interests, so the right offer must come in, and we also need time to find a replacement. For now, I will continue to work with him,” he said at the press conference before the match against Augsburg.

Updates have come from Germany, the latest report says that the player missed today’s (friday) training session as well, the feeling is that Bayern will find a replacement while the player will join the Serie A giants by the end of the transfer window.
