Laura Ingraham takes a jab at Taylor Swift, drawing criticism from her fans
Laura Ingraham, the host of The Ingraham Angle, recently sparked a wave of backlash from Swifties after offering some bold advice to the “Anti-Hero” artist. During her Thursday, Dec. 12 broadcast, Ingraham, 61, suggested that Swift should consider calling Donald Trump and offering to perform at his upcoming inauguration.
Ingraham claimed such a move would be “smart” for the pop superstar, adding that it could serve as “another great moment for unity for the country.” However, Swift’s loyal fanbase didn’t seem to agree, making it clear they weren’t on board with the TV personality’s proposal.
“Come on, Taylor. Are you ready for it?” Laura Ingraham quipped, playfully referencing the pop star’s hit song, “…Ready For It?” during her segment on The Ingraham Angle.
The Fox News anchor didn’t stop there adding: “Anything is possible. It is almost Christmas,” hinting at the season’s spirit of surprises. “We have seen a lot of miracles this year.”
However, Taylor Swift’s dedicated fanbase, the Swifties, knows “All Too Well” that the singer is unlikely to follow through with Ingraham’s suggestion. Swift’s political stance has been clear, particularly after endorsing the Democratic party during the 2024 presidential race.
