Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth is standing firm in her decision to keep Sean “Diddy” Combs in her prayers, despite the gravity of the federal charges heโs currently facing.
The rapper and music mogul, known for founding Bad Boy Records, is in federal custody awaiting trial on allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking.
When approached in New York City, Chenoweth confirmed sheโs continuing to pray for Diddy. However, she acknowledged the seriousness of the accusations, describing the case as “really bad.”
This isnโt the first time Kristin has shared her perspective on the unfolding situation; six months ago, she publicly stated she would pray for him after a leaked surveillance video showed Diddy physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie.
At the time, Chenowethโs decision to pray for Diddy stemmed from her own history with abuse. She revealed that she had been “severely abused” by a former partner and turned to prayer as a way to heal from her trauma. This personal connection inspired her empathetic stance, even as Diddy faced mounting allegations.
Since the release of the video, the situation has escalated significantly. In addition to the physical abuse claims, Diddy has been accused of multiple instances of sexual assault, and he now faces federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. The rapper has consistently denied the allegations, both in court and in civil lawsuits.
Despite the growing controversy, Chenoweth has chosen to focus on maintaining a positive outlook. She shifted the conversation to lighter topics, sharing her excitement about her friend Ariana Grande’s upcoming performance in the highly anticipated “Wicked” movie adaptation.
