According to his official biography, Mildon gained experience across several parts of the family company before developing expertise in international project development, investment management and strategic partnerships.
He also leads Milvest A.S., a Miller Holding subsidiary involved in public investments, residential construction, healthcare facilities, logistics centers and infrastructure developments.
Mildon’s business activities extend across multiple continents, with particularly significant investments in Africa and South America.
Milvest has reportedly secured approximately $1 billion in construction contracts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 2021. Its projects there include the Kinshasa Financial Center and the Arena sports complex.
Mildon previously acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding those investments.
“People were hesitant to invest in Congo, so we took certain risks,” he said in an earlier interview.
His company also invested $67 million in a drone base in Kisangani featuring runways, hangars and a control tower.
Miller Holding’s operations have reportedly brought Mildon into contact with government leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela.
Investments extending into Venezuela
Mildon has also pursued business opportunities in South America through Vencement, another company operating under his leadership.
Because American sanctions prevented Miller Holding from entering Venezuela’s oil, chemical and rare-mineral industries, the company instead moved into the cement sector.
Vencement reportedly reached an agreement with the Venezuelan government and began working toward restoring nearly a dozen cement factories.
His company describes his professional approach as centered on sustainable growth, reliability, employment creation and strengthening local economies.
Mildon’s official biography also credits him with helping Miller Holding expand its international presence through project financing, strategic partnerships and an ability to work across different business cultures.
How Mildon met Alina Habba
Reports differ slightly on the exact circumstances surrounding the couple’s introduction.
Mildon said they met through a mutual friend who is an ambassador. Other reports indicated that the introduction occurred at an event at Washington’s Kennedy Center earlier this year.
The couple was publicly linked in April and later seen together at the Executive Branch, a private Washington club, during Fourth of July celebrations.
More recently, the Daily Mail photographed them leaving the Polo Room in West Palm Beach, Florida. Habba was wearing a large diamond engagement ring that the outlet reported could be at least 23 carats.
Sources have said Mildon has grown close to Habba’s children, Chloe and Luke, and that the children “adore” him.
The couple has reportedly spent considerable time together in Florida and plans to live there following the wedding.
Both Mildon and Habba were previously married
Mildon was previously married to Betul Gursoy, an heir to the Turkish company Gursoy Group. Their marriage lasted three years before they divorced in 2024.
Habba has also been married twice. She shares Chloe and Luke with her first husband, attorney Matthew Eyet, whom she married in 2011 before their divorce in 2019.
Her second marriage was to Gregg Reuben, the millionaire CEO of the New York parking-management company Centerpark. Their marriage reportedly ended after nearly six years.
Habba later relocated to Palm Beach following the separation.
