Alina Habba’s new husband, Turhan Mildon, is entering one of America’s most closely watched political circles following his lavish wedding to President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney.
Mildon, 29, married the 42-year-old MAGA loyalist on Saturday at New York’s Waldorf Astoria after a fast-moving romance that began earlier this year.

The celebration reportedly cost $9 million and was held under tight security. The guest list was believed to include foreign leaders and members of the Trump administration, including FBI Director Kash Patel, Todd Blanche and Trump adviser Margo Martin.
Behind the glamorous wedding is a billionaire businessman from a powerful Turkish dynasty whose companies operate internationally across construction, mining, energy, defense and trade.
A business empire spanning 105 countries
Mildon serves as president and chief executive of Miller Holding, an Istanbul-based conglomerate founded by his grandfather, Muhsin Mildon.
The company began in 1967 with the sale of automobile parts before expanding into numerous industries and establishing operations across 105 countries.
Mildon succeeded his father, Mert Mildon, as the group’s leader in 2025.
His most significant international investments have been concentrated in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Miller Holding’s projects in the country include a financial and convention center complex in Kinshasa and the Kinshasa Arena, a multipurpose indoor venue with seating for 20,000 people.

The company has also moved into defense-related construction. Business Insider Africa reported that it secured a contract to build a drone-launch base for the Congolese military amid its conflict with the M23 rebel group.
Mildon has developed a reputation for pursuing large projects in regions where other international businesses may be more reluctant to invest.
“We have a taste for risk that Westerners don’t have,” he told The Africa Report.

Mildon said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan introduced him to Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi during an official visit to Turkey in 2021.
According to Mildon, Tshisekedi convinced him that he had a genuine plan for his country but lacked sufficient resources and trusted partners. Mildon subsequently traveled to Kinshasa and began investing that year.
He also identified Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Togo, Gabon and Somalia as potential areas for further growth. Mildon said he travels to the United States and Europe to encourage companies to provide their expertise while his business assumes the front-line financial risk.

Close relationships with political leaders
Mildon is described as having a particularly close relationship with Erdogan, whose government has sought to increase Turkey’s economic and political influence across Africa.
Some media reports have alleged that Miller Holding’s rapid success in obtaining overseas infrastructure contracts resulted from diplomatic pressure by the Turkish president. The article did not establish those allegations as proven.
President Trump has repeatedly spoken favorably about Erdogan, calling him a “tough cookie,” “a really great man” and “a great leader.” Trump has also described the Turkish president as a friend.

Mildon’s professional network has now brought him closer to the Trump circle through his marriage to Habba.
The pair reportedly met earlier this year at an event at Washington’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where Mildon was a donor.
An early indication of their romance emerged around July 4 at the Executive Branch, an exclusive Georgetown club co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. Habba was reportedly seen there with an unidentified “handsome new man.”
A passion for soccer and African investment
Beyond construction and mining, Mildon has invested in professional soccer.
He owns a shareholder stake in Trabzonspor, a prominent club competing in Turkey’s top division.
Through one of his company’s subsidiaries, Mildon also purchased a 90 percent share of Kinshasa-based AS Vita Club. His stated plan is to develop the club into one of the wealthiest and most competitive teams in sub-Saharan Africa.
His broader business interests in the Democratic Republic of Congo include copper, cobalt and gold mines.
The combination of infrastructure, defense, mineral and sporting investments has made Mildon an influential foreign businessman in the country.

His work schedule reportedly includes spending approximately 15 days each month in Africa, despite operating Miller Holding from Istanbul.
A whirlwind romance and enormous diamond
Mildon proposed to Habba with a 23-carat diamond ring, which she displayed during a dinner outing in Palm Beach three days before their wedding.
“That ring has its own zip code,” a source told the Daily Mail, adding that Mildon regularly tells Habba she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.
Habba was also carrying what appeared to be a pink ostrich Hermès Birkin bag reportedly valued at approximately $30,000. According to the article, it is one of several Birkin bags Mildon has given her.
The newlyweds are believed to be planning to live in Palm Beach, where Habba relocated after leaving New Jersey.
Sources told the Daily Mail that Mildon has become close to Habba’s two children, a daughter and son from her first marriage to attorney Matthew Eyet.
“They adore him,” one source said, claiming that Mildon joins the children in Nerf Blaster battles.
Both newlyweds have been married before
Mildon was previously married to Betul Gursoy, who also comes from a wealthy and influential Turkish family. Their marriage lasted from 2021 until 2024, and they did not have children.
Habba’s marriage to Mildon is her third.

She was married to Eyet from 2011 until 2019 before marrying New York parking-business executive Gregg Reuben. Her divorce from Reuben was finalized after approximately five years of marriage and only months before her wedding to Mildon.
The speed of the new relationship reportedly caused some concern within Habba’s circle.
“It’s a very fast wedding, which there have been concerns about,” one insider told the Daily Mail. “But she is all for it.”
Habba and Mildon nevertheless made their commitment official during an intimate but extravagant weekend of cocktails, caviar and high fashion at the newly renovated Waldorf Astoria.
The marriage brings together a prominent Trump loyalist and a young billionaire whose extensive business operations and political relationships already stretch across several continents.
