Sanches, with a fresh new injury: Mourinho unhappy: Here’s how long he will be out

“The Portuguese had to leave the field in the 28th minute of Sheriff-Roma.”

Two muscular injuries in less than a month. Confirming what was feared by José Mourinho and a significant portion of the Roma fans until this morning, are the results of Renato Sanches‘ diagnostic tests. The Portuguese, after being forced to leave the field in the 28th minute of Sheriff-Roma, underwent an MRI at Villa Stuart, which revealed a muscular injury to his right thigh.

DISAPPOINTMENT

The news had been in the air since yesterday and is a real blow to Roma, which, after the goal and the fine performance against Empoli, had hoped to finally have the former PSG player at its disposal on a stable basis.

An illusion that lasted less than a week. Now, he will have to remain sidelined for at least another fifteen days (but the recovery period could even be longer). This means that, in the best-case scenario, the twenty-six-year-old will be forced to watch the matches against Torino, Genoa, Frosinone, and Servette from the sidelines.

Mourinho was very angry after the match with Sheriff, criticizing the player directly with harsh words like: Nobody can understand him, Bayern didn’t, PSG didn’t either
