Grandpa Joe was being taken by his grandchildren to a nursing home.
They wheeled him in, and a young nurse came to greet them.
“Welcome to our nursing home,” she said warmly. “Let me show you around.”
As they were talking, Grandpa Joe slowly started leaning to one side in his wheelchair.
The nurse quickly stepped over and gently straightened him up.
“Don’t worry,” she said, smiling. “We have special chairs here that prevent you from tipping over.”
A few minutes later, Grandpa Joe started leaning to the other side.
Again, the nurse rushed over and adjusted him back upright.
“These chairs are designed to keep you perfectly balanced,” she explained.
After the tour, the grandchildren asked,
“Grandpa, how do you like it here so far?”
Grandpa Joe sighed and said,
“It’s nice… but they won’t let you fart.”
