The 60-year-old supermodel recently shared that her son has graduated from high school, proudly posting photos from the ceremony and calling it a deeply meaningful moment. In a June 2 Instagram post, she wrote, “Then this happened,” adding, “I’m one proud momma. Blessed blessed blessed.”
A Family Celebration Years in the Making
Augustin, also known as Augie, did not celebrate alone. His father, François-Henri Pinault, was present at the ceremony, along with his wife, Salma Hayek. The group posed together for photos, showing a united front in support of the graduate.
The moment offered a rare public glimpse into a blended family dynamic that has largely stayed out of the spotlight over the years. Augustin was seen wearing a royal blue cap and gown as he received his diploma, with both parents and Hayek celebrating the achievement alongside him.
Following the ceremony, Evangelista marked the occasion with a personalized graduation cake featuring the letters “USC,” hinting at what may be next for her son as he prepares for the future.

While Evangelista has long been known for maintaining privacy around her family, she has occasionally shared insights into the support system surrounding her son. That includes her relationship with Hayek, who has played a meaningful role in their lives.
In an August 2023 interview with Vogue, Evangelista recalled a moment during the holidays when she was unwell and planned to skip Thanksgiving. Hayek stepped in without hesitation.
“Oh yes you are. I am coming,” Evangelista recalled Hayek telling her, explaining that the actress traveled with her daughter to ensure the holiday was still celebrated. She described how Hayek prepared a full Thanksgiving meal, calling it “a beautiful, beautiful” feast.
