The words of the Bianconeri coach on the eve of the big match against Fiorentina.
On the eve of Fiorentina-Juventus, scheduled at the Franchi on Sunday at 8:45 PM, Massimiliano Allegri presents the Bianconeri’s challenge from the press room at Continassa.
Allegri: “Risk of the game being postponement?
I don’t decide, I really don’t know about that; there are the competent authorities who decide. Today, we train, and then we depart for Florence.”
Allegri: “Danilo to return after the break.”
On the injury status: “I believe that De Sciglio will be able to start training with the team in about a month. Between Alex Sandro and Danilo, it’s more likely that the Alex will return for this game. We’ve checked on Danilo’s injury, and he’s not ready yet; the injury is deep and causing him pain. I think he’ll return after the break, and we hope to have him against Inter.”
Allegri: “I had no doubts about Soulรฉ.”
The coach responded to a question about the Argentine’s extraordinary start to the season: “I had no doubts that he would do very well at Frosinone. Last year, he was already important here at Juventus; let’s not forget the game he played in Milan against Inter. However, choices had to be made, and he needed to play more.”
Allegri: “Chiesa and Vlahovic should make themselves available to the team.”
Allegri expressed his thoughts on the two prominent former players in the match: “I don’t need to give advice; what’s important is that they make themselves available to the team. We need all the attackers. We’re in a good moment, but what we’ve done so far isn’t enough to achieve the goal of qualifying for the next Champions League. Chiesa and Vlahovic know that they are important not only for this match but for Juventus in general.”
Allegri: “Fiorentina-Juve is always motivating.”
Allegri then talked about tomorrow’s match: “Fiorentina-Juve is always a great game, also because of the rivalry between the two clubs and especially between the fans. We’ll find a strong opponent, even if they’ve suffered two defeats in a row.”
