Legends choosing other legends: for Del Piero and Marchisio, it was difficult to form a lineup of the 5 best players in Juventus history without selecting themselves. As guests at an event for the presentation of FC24, the two former Bianconeri players assembled their 5-a-side teams.
Del Piero and Marchisio’s selections
Del Piero was the first to choose and fielded more old-school players. In goal, he chose Zoff instead of Buffon, in defense, Gaetano Scirea, followed by Platini, Boniperti, and Zinedine Zidane . Claudio Marchisio’s lineup was more recent. He placed Gigi Buffon in goal, Giorgio Chiellini in defense, Pirlo and Platini in midfield, with Alessandro Del Piero up front.
