Ivanka Trump reflects on motherhood and loss in emotional family tribute
Ivanka Trump marked Mother’s Day with a deeply personal message centered on family, remembrance, and motherhood, sharing a collection of photos dedicated to her late mother Ivana Trump, her grandmother Babi, and her three children.

The 44-year-old posted a series of family images on Instagram, including older photographs featuring Ivana Trump and several moments from holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings through the years. Some of the pictures also included her brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
Alongside the tribute, Ivanka included photos from her own life as a mother with husband Jared Kushner and their children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.

In her message, Ivanka thanked both her mother and grandmother for teaching her “how to love so deeply, generously, and unconditionally.” She also described motherhood as “the greatest privilege” of her life.
Family memories remain central after Ivana Trump’s death
The Mother’s Day post arrived months after Ivanka publicly discussed the emotional impact of losing her mother in 2022. During an appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast last month, she spoke openly about grief, therapy, and the challenges her family faced during that period.

According to Ivanka, the death of Ivana Trump came shortly after Kushner underwent a second cancer surgery connected to a thyroid cancer diagnosis first discovered during their White House years.
Ivanka said she sought professional mental health support while dealing with the difficult period, explaining that she wanted to remain emotionally strong for her family.

She also became emotional while discussing her grandmother Babi, now 99, who currently lives with the family in Miami. Ivanka said it has been meaningful for her children to hear stories about their late grandmother from someone who knew her closely.

A quieter chapter away from politics
Ivana Trump died in July 2022 after being found unconscious at the bottom of a staircase inside her Manhattan home. She was 73 years old.
Born in what is now the Czech Republic, Ivana built a public profile in New York as a model and businesswoman after marrying Donald Trump in 1977. The couple had three children together before divorcing in 1992.

Since stepping away from politics in 2022, Ivanka has largely stayed out of public interviews and focused more heavily on private family life.
In her recent remarks, she emphasized that raising her children has become her main priority as she continues life outside the political spotlight.
