Today’s Dylan Dreyer opens up on divorce, family life, future, and reveals if she is ready to date again

Dylan Dreyer is trading winter weather for sunshine this week, traveling from New York to Miami as she takes part in a high-profile celebrity golf event.

The Dylan Dreyer co-host is participating in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions for the fourth time, stepping away from her usual television duties to compete alongside fellow celebrities. During the event, she spoke about both her professional life and personal outlook following a major life change.

Dylan Dreyer is ready to date again

Dreyer confirmed in June 2025 that she had separated from her husband, Brian Fichera. Speaking candidly during her time in Miami, she shared that while her focus remains on her family, she has not ruled out the possibility of dating again.

“I would say I’m open to it,” she said, noting that it has been a long time since she has navigated that part of her life. She emphasized that her priority continues to be her children and family responsibilities.

“If something were to happen organically and it’s easy… I’m open to it,” she explained, while also making clear that she is not actively searching for a relationship.

Her comments came during a conversation that touched on entertainment, including a discussion about a Netflix series, before shifting toward her personal life.

Changes at Today Leave a Void

Beyond her personal update, Dreyer also addressed recent changes within Today, particularly the shift involving her close colleague Sheinelle Jones.

Jones recently moved from the Third Hour to co-host alongside Jenna Bush Hager on the newly branded Today with Jenna & Sheinelle. Dreyer described the transition as bittersweet, highlighting the strong bond shared among the team.

“We’re all so close outside of work… we still laugh and talk all the time,” she said, while admitting she misses having Jones regularly on the 9 a.m. hour. Despite the change, Dreyer noted that their connection remains intact, including their continued collaboration on Sirius XM alongside Al Roker.

Balancing Career and Motherhood

Away from the studio and golf course, Dreyer remains focused on raising her three sons—Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty. While she enjoys moments like her Miami trip, she acknowledged the constant demands of daily life as a working mother.

“I’m tired, but I have young children… it’s just a season. It goes by fast,” she said, reflecting on the pace of family life.

During the tournament, her children are spending time with their grandparents, allowing her a rare opportunity to step back and recharge.

Dreyer is staying at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel along with other celebrity participants, including Brian Baumgartner, Joey Graziadei, and performers such as Kelly Clarkson.
