Travis Kelce spares no expense on Valentine’s Day as wedding countdown begins
Valentine’s Day carried added significance this year for Travis Kelce, who marked the occasion with an extraordinary series of gifts for his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
According to reporting by The U.S. Sun, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end spent approximately $141,000 on luxury items and planned floral deliveries as part of a broader lead-up to their upcoming wedding.
This February 14 was the couple’s first since announcing their engagement on August 26 last year. Sources told the outlet that Kelce wanted the day to stand out as their final Valentine’s Day before their expected summer ceremony.
A $141,000 Valentine’s Day statement
The U.S. Sun reports that Kelce purchased three Louis Vuitton pieces for Swift, including a $3,900 denim-effect knit jacket, a $2,330 skirt, and a $6,000 varsity-style jacket. The items were described as pieces Swift had previously shown interest in.
In addition, she received a Hermès caftan that Kelce reportedly noticed in a magazine and immediately associated with her style.
The largest portion of the reported spending came from two luxury watches. Kelce gifted Swift an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak valued at $91,600 and a Rolex 1908 priced at $33,600. According to the insider cited by The U.S. Sun, Kelce has a strong appreciation for watches and hopes Swift will build her own collection.
Beyond the material gifts, the gesture extends well past Valentine’s Day itself. The publication states that Kelce arranged for flower bouquets to be delivered beginning 100 days before the wedding date, again at 50 days and 30 days out, and then daily during the final month before the ceremony. The arrangements will include roses in multiple colors, hydrangeas, and orchids — flowers Swift reportedly loves.
The couple previously shared their engagement announcement on Instagram, writing, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside engagement photos taken in August 2025.
Reports indicate the wedding is expected to take place on June 13 at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Other sources have suggested the couple is focused on enjoying their time together rather than rushing preparations.
While Swift’s professional world remains centered on music, Kelce’s future in the NFL remains undecided following the Chiefs’ 6–11 season and playoff elimination. For now, however, the spotlight rests firmly on a Valentine’s Day defined by high-end fashion, luxury timepieces, and a carefully planned countdown to the aisle.
