Carmen and Lupita Andrade, the 25-year-old conjoined twins who’ve captivated millions online, are opening up about life, love, and setting boundaries, especially since Carmen tied the knot with husband Daniel McCormack, 28, last year.
Carmen and Daniel met on the dating app Hinge in 2020, and in October 2024, the two eloped in a small get-together on Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut, with only local family present. Their relationship, like everything else in the twins’ life, has drawn widespread fascination and endless speculation.
In July, during a YouTube video titled Overdue Update!, Carmen revealed the marriage, saying, “I did get married,” before flashing her wedding ring as Daniel came into view. “I got an upgrade,” he joked. “I’m the husband now.”

But Carmen was quick to clarify: “Before anybody gets it twisted… We got married,” pointing to herself and Daniel, then adding with a laugh, “We did not get married,” nodding toward Lupita.
‘Constantly talking’ and respecting limits
While Carmen and Daniel navigate married life, they’re also constantly aware of Lupita’s space and comfort. “It’s about constantly talking,” Carmen told People, explaining how the couple manages intimacy while sharing a body with her sister.
If Lupita ever feels uncomfortable, Carmen says they immediately back off, no questions asked. And Lupita? She’s got her own coping strategy: “I have headphones and a phone. I don’t care.”
Carmen also shared that she and Daniel sometimes feel guilty spending time together, but try to balance their bond with Lupita’s well-being. “There’s a societal expectation that there needs to be affection the entire time. All we do is joke around a lot of the time.”
Shutting down rumors — and critics
Since revealing the marriage, the couple has dealt with everything from fetishization to wild online theories, including claims that Daniel was cheating, planning to walk out in a few years, or was “just kind of here for the bag.” Carmen’s blunt response? “I’ve got no money,” she laughed.
Despite over 250,000 YouTube subscribers and thousands of Instagram fans, the twins say their income is far from glamorous. “It just counts as supplemental income,” Carmen noted. “We still have to work 50 hours a week to make ends meet.”
Lupita also addressed fan rumors that she doesn’t like Daniel. “I just want to see my sister happy,” she said. “People don’t understand — he would not be around whatsoever if we didn’t get along.”
Drawing the line
But even with all the love they receive, the couple, and Lupita, are drawing clear lines around their privacy. Carmen took aim at the most invasive question they get asked: details about their sex life.
“I don’t understand why people need to know about my private parts to humanize us,” she said. Daniel echoed her frustration: “People are obsessed with sex. It’s none of your f—— business.”
And for Lupita, who identifies as asexual, it stings in another way. In the video, she added: “I don’t want to get married… because I don’t want to.” She also said firmly, “I don’t like being asked if I’m ever going to love Daniel. I love him as a brother. That’s about it.”
