Jennifer Aniston breaks down in tears after sharing a heartbreaking news – Video

Jennifer Aniston showed her emotional side during a heartfelt appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, breaking down in tears over the death of her dog, Norman.

An Emotional Flashback

The 56-year-old Friends icon became visibly emotional while discussing her bond with Hollywood legend Shirley MacLaine, her Rumor Has It co-star. When asked by Drew what made Shirley so meaningful to her, Aniston choked up and began dabbing her eyes.

“I was with her when my dog passed away,” she shared through tears. “Sorry… we were at her ranch in New Mexico doing a past life regression retreat. It sounds crazy when I say it like that…”

Aniston then clarified that she was referring to her late pup Norman, a Welsh corgi-terrier mix who passed away in 2011 at age 15. “Are you worried about me because I’m crying and I’m talking about Norman? Oh my gosh,” she said, clearly moved.

A Past Life Connection

Shirley MacLaine, known for her deep belief in reincarnation, once told Jennifer she believed they were mother and daughter in a past life. The instant bond they formed on set, Aniston said, felt like more than coincidence.

“She just… she’s fantastic,” Jennifer said. “She believes that we had that connection, and I think that’s why we clicked so fast.”

MacLaine’s past-life recollections, which include memories of being a harem girl in Turkey and even living in Atlantis, seemed to offer comfort to Aniston during one of the hardest moments of her life.

Broadway Dreams and Movie Goals

The emotional conversation quickly pivoted to lighter fare as the two friends gushed about their dream of acting together. “We’re gonna do something,” said Jennifer, suggesting a collaboration with frequent co-star Adam Sandler.

Barrymore enthusiastically agreed: “You, me and Adam? I’m still looking for it!”

Jennifer’s pitch? “Come on. Death Becomes Her.”

Barrymore didn’t miss a beat: “I would literally change my life to go do a movie with you and Adam.”

From Sitcom Star to Stage Aspirant

Aniston also revealed a longtime ambition: Broadway.

“When I saw Annie for the first time, I thought, ‘Oh God, what it would be like to be on Broadway.’” While she admitted she’s never taken the leap, she expressed deep admiration for the theater world.

“It’s sacred,” she said. “I would be honored to be invited into it.”
