Joan Collins is proving once again that glamour has no expiration date.
While vacationing in the sun-drenched South of France, the 92-year-old icon lit up Instagram with poolside photos that fans are calling “timeless” and “unbelievable.” But it wasn’t just her radiant glow that had followers buzzing, it was a surprise hint about what she’s working on next.
A white swimsuit, red hat, and endless elegance
In a photo that’s now gone viral, Collins reclines poolside in a white ribbed one-piece paired with a breezy turquoise sarong. Her matching turquoise accessories add a pop of sparkle, but it’s the bright red sun hat, paired with a smokey eye and bold red lip, that elevates the entire look into something unmistakably Joan.
With one hand resting on her hip and the Mediterranean sun casting a golden glow, fans couldn’t help but gush over her age-defying presence.
“You seem to get younger and younger,” one follower wrote. Another simply called her “ageless, timeless, eternal beauty.”
New mystery project in the works
But Dame Joan isn’t just lounging, she’s plotting her next big move. In her caption, she casually dropped the kind of career tease only a legend can make:
“The producer is thinking of making a sequel to Murder Between Friends. I played Francesca Carlyle who is a TV star and also a private detective. Shades of Agatha Christie & Murder She Wrote. Meanwhile, I’m relaxing in the South of France in 90° heat. Thinking of my next move or next movie!”
Naturally, fans went wild.
Joan is set to star in the upcoming film A Murder Between Friends. According to IMDb, Collins plays a legendary TV star who solves a murder mystery at her country estate, joined on-screen by Nadia Bjorlin, Trent Garrett, and Jacob Young.
A release date hasn’t been announced, but Collins made it clear: she’s still in demand, still booking roles, and still living for the drama.
Not slowing down at 92
Beyond Murder Between Friends, Collins is also signed on to play Wallis Simpson in the upcoming drama The Bitter End, a biopic focusing on the later years of the Duchess of Windsor. She’ll star opposite Isabella Rossellini, who plays Wallis’s lawyer, Suzanne Blum.
It’s another bold role for a woman who’s spent more than seven decades in the spotlight, from her 1951 debut in Lady Godiva Rides Again to roles in The Woman’s Angle, Land of the Pharaohs, Star Trek: The Original Series, and her unforgettable reign as Alexis Carrington Colby on Dynasty.
And yet, here she is, sipping something sparkling in the Riviera, turning 90° heat into cool elegance and leaving fans guessing whether her “next move” will be another movie or just another unforgettable moment.
