After more than two decades together, Greg Gutfeld and Elena Moussa have given fans a rare and heartwarming look at their new family chapter — life with their baby girl, Mira.
A surprise late-in-life milestone
The couple, who wed in 2004, announced Mira’s arrival late last year. Gutfeld, 60, revealed the happy news during an episode of The Five after taking time away from the show, telling viewers they had welcomed their daughter, Mira.
Since then, Moussa, 42, has kept most details private, until Friday, when she posted an Instagram Story showing her cradling Mira. The infant wore a tiny pink sweater while her mom looked effortlessly chic in a white linen outfit.
It’s a tender image that feels even more poignant given the timing. As relationship expert Gemma Logan told The Foxy Hen, “Welcoming a child later in life, as Greg and Elena did, often brings deeper appreciation and patience.”
Parenting with perspective — and challenges
According to Logan, older parents often bring greater life experience, stronger identities, and more financial stability into the parenting journey. “It can foster a nurturing, secure environment for the baby and a more thoughtful parenting dynamic,” she explained.
But she also noted the demands: “It’s not without its challenges. Raising a child can be physically exhausting, and that toll is felt more acutely later in life… Intimacy can easily take a backseat, so scheduling time for each other becomes less of a luxury and more of a lifeline.”
Matchmaker and relationship consultant Giovanna Smith added that becoming parents after two decades together inevitably sparks curiosity about the road that led there. That journey can involve fertility considerations to the emotional, physical, and financial challenges of trying to conceive later in life.
