President Trump gushes over granddaughter Kai’s golf game… tells who would win in a head-to-head game

From White House to the clubhouse! Donald Trump may be known for his politics, but when it comes to golf, he’s still the one calling the shots—especially over his own family.

The former U.S. President couldn’t help but sing the praises of his 17-year-old granddaughter Kai Trump, calling her a “fantastic golfer” with a “bright future” in the sport—though he cheekily insisted she’s “not on his level just yet.”

Kai, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., has already committed to playing collegiate golf at the University of Miami and dreams of turning professional. But while grandpa Don is clearly impressed, he’s not ready to hand over the golf crown just yet.

“She’s a scratch player, which is amazing,” Trump said proudly in Kai’s latest YouTube vlog, filmed during a family trip to a UFC event in Miami.

“Some day she’ll be better than scratch. And some day, she’ll beat her grandfather… but I’m not sure when that’ll be. It might be a long time!” he laughed.

Kai, along with brothers Donny (16) and Spencer (12), was seen chatting with the ex-President about her golf game and throwing down the gauntlet for a one-on-one showdown. And while Trump joked about his odds of winning, the teen wasn’t backing down.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the young golf prodigy.

A Rough Round: Kai’s Public Golf Meltdown

Just weeks ago, Kai suffered a brutal collapse at the elite Sage Valley Junior Invitational, where she carded a shocking 52-over-par finish—landing in last place among the 24-player girls’ field.

Wearing a Trump-branded hat and shadowed by Secret Service, the pressure was clearly on. She shot 79, 89, and 83, including a stunning 12-shot meltdown over seven holes on the back nine.

Despite the disaster, her global junior ranking still climbed from 815th to 530th by the end of March.

Tea Time Turns to Drama: Kai Dishes on Cavinder Twins’ Love Life

Kai’s vlog wasn’t just about birdies and bogeys—it had a little relationship drama too.

The teen spent time backstage at the UFC event with Miami Hurricanes twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, where conversation shifted from sports to scandals.

When the subject of Hanna’s ex-boyfriend, Georgia football quarterback Carson Beck, came up, Kai didn’t hold back.

“Does he have friends?” Kai asked.
“No, nobody likes him,” Hanna replied, alluding to alleged cheating rumors surrounding the couple’s ugly breakup.
