Ashley St. Clair, the latest woman to have a child with tech billionaire Elon Musk, has been absent from X (formerly Twitter) for over a month, raising concerns among social media users.
Her last activity on the platform was on February 16, 2025, when she posted an image of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy along with a controversial caption. Since then, she has not posted or engaged on X, prompting speculation about her whereabouts.
Social Media Users Question Her Whereabouts
As weeks passed without any updates from St. Clair, discussions erupted on X, with users speculating about her sudden silence.
One user resurfaced her final post, writing, “I don’t want to alarm anyone, but she literally hasn’t posted anything since this.” Another, sharing a screenshot of her pinned and last post, asked, “Is Ashley St. Clair dead or put in a bunker somewhere? Dead air for over a month.”
Another person speculated about the consequences of her public revelation, posting, “Are we gonna talk about how Ashley St. Clair’s stunt royally backfired and she’s been MIA for over a month?”
On Valentine’s Day 2025, St. Clair made headlines when she revealed on X that she had secretly welcomed a child with Elon Musk five months prior.
She began her post with the Latin phrase “Alea iacta est,” translated as “The die is cast,” a historical reference to Julius Caesar’s fateful crossing of the Rubicon.
Her statement read:
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
Following this revelation, St. Clair announced her decision to take time off from X to focus on her family, pinning the post to her profile.
However, in the weeks that followed, the 26-year-old filed a lawsuit against Musk for sole custody of their child, identified only as R.S.C. In her petition, she alleged that Musk, 53, had only seen the baby three times since his birth in September 2024.
Unanswered questions surrounding her silence
While St. Clair had previously indicated she would be stepping away from social media, her prolonged silence, combined with the legal battle against Musk has fuelled widespread speculation.
Meanwhile, Musk, who has 13 children from different relationships, has not addressed the claims about his alleged child with St. Clair. His silence has only added to the speculation, with critics suggesting it aligns with his usual approach to parenting.
