Fox News’ launch of “The Will Cain Show” has quickly become the network’s most successful daytime premiere to date.

On Tuesday, the show’s first episode, airing at 4 p.m. ET, drew an impressive audience of 3.5 million viewers, including 451,000 from the highly valued 25-54 age demographic favored by advertisers.

Remarkably, this debut accounted for 68% of the entire cable news audience during that hour and captured 73% of viewers within the critical 25-54 demographic.

Additionally, these initial ratings more than doubled Fox News’ average viewership for the same 4 p.m. ET slot in 2024, highlighting the exceptional strength of the show’s inaugural broadcast.

Will Cain has built a substantial following over recent years, notably from his time as co-host on “FOX & Friends Weekend” and as the ongoing host of his podcast, “The Will Cain Show.”

Currently, “The Will Cain Show” serves as the lead-in to Fox News’ “The Five,” a show that attracted close to 6 million viewers on Tuesday, including 762,000 within the highly coveted demographic.

He stressed the importance of equipping his audience with enough information to independently form their own conclusions.

Describing his new show as “casual” and “immediate,” Cain added that while professionalism remains central, he intends to maintain a sense of fun.

He also expressed openness to experimenting with different approaches to ensure the audience remains actively engaged.

Since joining Fox News in 2020, Will Cain has conducted weekend interviews with a wide array of influential guests, such as former President Donald Trump, actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, along with many other prominent figures from politics and pop culture.

His new program is similarly expected to feature engaging conversations with individuals representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Over the weekend, Trump expressed his support on social media, confidently stating that Cain “will do a great job on his news show,” highlighting that Cain possesses the qualities essential for success.
