Donald Trump previously mentioned that if he returned to power, he would remove Prince Harry from the U.S.
In a recent interview, President Donald Trump he finally answered whether that would happen with Prince Harry. At the same time, he openly took a jab at Harryโs wife Meghan Markle.
Since entering the White House after his inauguration, Donald Trump has continued his implementation of big changes. On his first day as U.S. president, he began signing documents, not only fulfilling many campaign promises but also going even further in some areas.
Among the less important issues is the possible deportation of Prince Harry, which Trump had previously mentioned. Now, he has finally put an end to the speculation about whether he will send the Duke of Sussex back to England.
“Iโm not going to do that. Iโll leave him alone. Heโs got enough problems with his wife. Sheโs terrible,” Trump told the New York Post.
Prince Harry is currently facing a legal battle over whether he lied about drug use in his U.S. visa application.
He stated in official documents that he had never used drugs, but in his memoir Spare, he described in detail his experiences with marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
In the interview with the New York Post, U.S. President Donald Trump did not hold back on criticizing Prince Harryโs wife, Meghan Markle, who previously called him “misogynistic.”
Trump said that Meghan controls Prince Harry and that he believes she is “leading poor Harry by the nose.”
However, Donald Trump took the opportunity to praise Prince William, the Prince of Wales and Harryโs older brother, who is the future King of the United Kingdom. Trump met William in Paris during the recent reopening of Notre Dame after renovations.
“I think William is an exceptional young man,” Trump concluded.
