Natalie Winters, co-host of Steve Bannon’s War Room on Rumble, is once again at the center of controversy but this time it is over her wardrobe choice.
The 23-year-old recently began reporting on the early days of Donald Trump’s administration from Washington, D.C., but it was her outfit on the first day that sparked online debate.
Winters’ Outfit Draws Mixed Reactions
Sharing a series of photos on Instagram, Winters marked her first day on the job with images of herself on-air and in front of the White House. “Officially a White House correspondent,” she captioned the post—after correcting a spelling error from her initial post on X (formerly Twitter).
For the occasion, Winters wore a black top layered over a white collared shirt, paired with a white leather skirt featuring a chevron print. She completed the look with chunky white sneakers and socks.
While some followers congratulated her, many criticized her attire, arguing that it was not suitable for such a prestigious role.
Comments flooded in, with one user urging, “Could you at least dress more modestly? This isn’t high school.” Another added, “Terrific, but rethink the skirt and sneakers. C’mon, you can’t be that dense.” Others compared her ensemble to that of an intern, with one sarcastically stating, “Not the classic white dad New Balances.”

This isn’t the first time Winters’ fashion choices have come under scrutiny. During Trump’s inauguration weekend, she donned a red, bandage-style dress, seemingly from Herve Leger.
Social media users were quick to weigh in, with one remarking, “Well done for dressing up, though being conservative traditionally means… not showing too much flesh.” Another added, “Wouldn’t be caught dead in that dress. Such immodesty.”
Beyond her wardrobe, Winters has been a divisive figure due to her outspoken views. She has openly described herself as “transphobic” and has shared inflammatory opinions about transgender individuals on X. Additionally, she was labeled an “Islamophobe” during a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored after claiming that Islam is “conducive to pedophilia.”
