Reflecting on how she landed the role of Daisy Duke, Catherine shared a fascinating story during a 2019 interview with Fox News Digital. When I was approached, I didnโt think I stood a chance.โ
Catherine initially planned to skip the audition, but a friend encouraged her to reconsider. โI was at this little Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills with my girlfriend, who had directed my one-act play. I told her about the audition and how I didnโt think it was worth going. She said, โItโs Warner Bros. You never know who youโll meet on the way in or out. Just go!โ So, I decided to give it a shot.โ
Her first audition left a lasting impression, ultimately securing her the role that would define her career. From hesitations to a life-changing opportunity, Catherineโs journey to becoming Daisy Duke remains an inspiring tale for aspiring actors everywhere.
