Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, have exciting news to share—they’ve welcomed a new addition to their family!
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his fitness entrepreneur wife announced the birth of their daughter, Golden Raye, on Sunday.
The couple shared the happy news with a heartwarming black-and-white photo on Instagram, showing a close-up of Golden’s tiny feet alongside a sign displaying her name.
Golden joins the Mahomes’ growing family as the youngest sibling to Sterling Skye, 3, and Bronze, 2.
Before Kansas City’s impressive 29-10 victory over the Steelers on Christmas, Mahomes revealed that their third child was expected “any day now.” That day has finally arrived, and the Mahomes family couldn’t be happier.
“Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season,” Mahomes admitted, referencing the toll of his demanding schedule on his wife. “So I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games.”
The star quarterback also joked about perfect timing for their growing family. “Hopefully, God works the right way, and we can have that baby on ‘the bye’ week somewhere,” he said. “Then everything will work out perfectly.”

The Kansas City Chiefs locked in the No. 1 seed, home-field advantage in the AFC, and a first-round playoff bye with their win over the Steelers.
After the Christmas victory, Patrick Mahomes shared a heartfelt moment during a post-game interview. “I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that baby,” the 29-year-old quarterback said proudly. “So we got that number one seed.”
Brittany Mahomes, also 29, shared her excitement by reposting the clip and praising her husband for staying true to his word, writing that he’s “always keeping his promises.”
