A 7-year-old girl with a head full of wild, curly blonde hair captured the hearts of America’s Got Talent Judges and its audience.
Eseniia Mikheeva took to the stage and, despite admitting to being “a little nervous,” wowed everyone with her energetic dance routine. Her performance even got the crowd on their feet.
Eseniia shared with the Judges how her passion for dancing began. “When I was little, I would sleep in the car, hear [music], and I couldn’t move my legs — but I could move my head [to the beat],” she recalled, explaining the early spark that led to her love for dance.
Her talent seems to run in the family—her parents are dance instructors for children. However, Eseniia’s father explained that her remarkable gift is something he couldn’t teach. Eseniia agreed, saying, “My dancing is from my heart.” She also shared that she knows a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tango, contemporary, and hip-hop.
On the AGT stage, Eseniia charmed the Judges before even starting her performance. Judge Sofia Vergara complimented her long, curly ponytail, and after some playful encouragement from Simon Cowell, Eseniia revealed he was her favorite Judge. Then, she got to work, performing an impressive routine filled with moves like the worm, backflips, splits, and handstands.
Sofia Vergara was blown away, calling Eseniia “a mini, mini star already.” She added, “This is the place where you needed to be. We’re so happy you’re here.” Heidi Klum also praised her performance, saying, “I love your dance, your tricks. What I love the most are your facial expressions. You are in there. You’re giving 100 percent.”
Eseniia even brought her stuffed dog, Linda, on stage to join in the fun. Her proud parents, who had been watching from the sidelines, waved excitedly to the audience.
The Judges were unanimous in their approval, with Howie Mandel and the rest giving her four enthusiastic “Yes” votes. It’s clear Eseniia is already on the path to stardom, and her future in the dance world looks incredibly bright.
