Tiger Woods reportedly focused on supporting Vanessa Trump during cancer treatment as she begins next phase of recovery
Tiger Woods is reportedly dedicating much of his attention to supporting Vanessa Trump as she continues treatment following her breast cancer diagnosis.
According to multiple sources who spoke with People, the golf star has made Vanessa’s health his primary focus in recent weeks, even while managing his own legal and medical challenges following a March car crash and DUI charge in Florida.
Sources told the publication that Woods has been a significant source of support for Vanessa since her diagnosis and throughout the early stages of her treatment.

Vanessa publicly revealed on May 20 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. In a statement shared on social media, she said she was working closely with her medical team and thanked doctors who had recently performed a procedure.
She also expressed gratitude for the support she had received from family, friends and loved ones while asking for privacy during her recovery.
Vanessa shares new update on treatment
Several weeks after announcing her diagnosis, Vanessa provided another update on her condition.
On June 13, she revealed that she had been recovering from surgery and was preparing to move forward with the next phase of her treatment plan.
The update marked an important step in her ongoing cancer journey as she continues receiving care following her diagnosis.

Sources speaking to People said both Vanessa and Woods remain hopeful about the months ahead. One insider described Vanessa as understandably anxious about the situation but also determined to continue moving forward with treatment.
The source added that she is surrounded by strong support and has access to extensive medical resources as she focuses on recovery.
Woods returns to Florida after treatment abroad
The reports come shortly after Woods completed a six-week treatment program in Switzerland.
According to People, the golfer traveled overseas in April and remained there through early May following his March 27 crash and DUI arrest. Court documents reviewed by the publication show that Woods entered a not guilty plea on March 31 and announced plans to seek treatment while focusing on his health.
He returned to the United States on May 13.
Sources told People that one reason for his return was to be closer to Vanessa as she dealt with her health challenges. The publication also reported that Woods wanted to be present for Kai Trump’s high school graduation.
Insiders said Vanessa’s situation has shifted Woods’ attention away from many of his own personal difficulties, allowing him to focus on supporting someone he cares about.
Looking ahead
Woods and Vanessa publicly confirmed their relationship on social media in March 2025.
Vanessa shares five children with former husband Donald Trump Jr., while Woods is the father of two children from his previous marriage to Elin Nordegren.

Meanwhile, golf sources who spoke with People said Woods continues to work toward returning to the sport. One source described him as resilient, while another suggested that opportunities in golf remain available once he is ready to pursue them.
For now, however, reports indicate that Vanessa’s recovery remains at the center of Woods’ attention as she continues treatment and begins the next stage of her fight against breast cancer.
