The Frenchman returns to play at the Stadium after the last injury suffered in the previous season against Cremonese: here are his words after the season debut.
One of the positive notes for Juventus in the draw against Bologna is Paul Pogba. The French midfielder made his season debut, returning to wear the Juventus jersey in an official match after his last injury suffered in the previous season, against Cremonese.
“I’m very happy to be back on the field doing the thing I love most in the world. I feel good, I’m happy, but a bit disappointed with the result because we could have taken three points, and we didn’t. The good thing is that we didn’t lose; we know we have to work and get better. We’ll take this point and work for the next challenge.”
“We have to play our game, and in the second half, we did it very well. There are things we need to change, but it’s part of the process,” continued the French midfielder, who clarified his physical condition: “I just need a bit more playing time. I’m in very good shape physically and I want to come back in a big way.”
He then concluded with a message for all Juventus fans: “I’m as hungry as I was in my early days here. I’m hungry to work, play, win, and learn. I’m only 30 years old, and I want to give these fans more trophies and the joy of coming to the stadium again.”
