The former Fiorentina player left the training session: his presence on Sunday against Napoli at the Maradona stadium is uncertain.
Trouble at Juventus concerning Federico Chiesa. The 26-year-old left this morning’s training session at Continassa limping: due to a tough tackle by Alex Sandro during the scrimmage (that’s tough for a coach to swallow). Immediate medical attention was called onto the field after the collision: it appears to be a knock to his right ankle. Initially, the former Fiorentina player tried to continue the session but eventually had to give up and was substituted out by Allegri.
His condition will be assessed ahead of the Napoli match: on Sunday evening, Danilo, Perin, De Sciglio, McKennie, and Rabiot will also be absent. On a positive note, Kean was seen back in training: his recovery continues, and although he joined the rest of the group, it seems likely that he will only return for the March 10th match against Atalanta. Alongside Vlahovic, the presence of Turkish player Yildiz seems certain in case Chiesa is unable to play, amidst ongoing discussions about renewing his contract expiring in 2025.
