Lisa Boothe has shared a personal update about her beloved dog following what appears to have been a difficult period of recovery.
The Fox News personality posted a close-up video of the small dog resting while wearing a protective cone. Although the latest development brought some encouraging news, Boothe revealed that the recovery process is not yet complete.
“Stitches out but needs the cone for one more week,” Boothe wrote, adding a crying emoji to her Instagram Story.

Boothe did not explain what caused the injury or why the stitches were originally required. Her update nevertheless showed that the dog had reached an important stage in its recovery while still needing additional protection.
Lisa has frequently shown her love for dogs
Boothe has shared her affection for dogs with followers before. In a June 2020 Instagram post featuring a Cavalier, she wrote simply, “Dogs make me happy.”

Her latest photograph reflected that same close connection. Boothe could be seen gently supporting the resting dog’s head as the animal remained tucked beneath a blanket and wearing the cone.
While the removal of the stitches marked progress, Boothe made clear that her canine companion must continue wearing the protective collar for another week.
No further information about the dog’s condition was included in the update.

Continuing her television appearances
Boothe’s personal update came as she also remained active in her television work.
In another Instagram Story, she invited viewers to watch her appearance on The Faulkner Focus with Harris Faulkner. The program promoted Boothe for a discussion titled “Blue State Exodus: California on the Brink.”

Her recent professional appearance followed a summer that also included a memorable visit to Nantucket with fellow Fox News personality Aishah Hasnie.
The friends shared photographs from their Massachusetts getaway, including evenings out, time beside the water, beach walks and meals together. Hasnie described the experience as “Nantucket magic,” while Boothe said she had enjoyed the best trip with her “beautiful friend.”
Now, Boothe’s attention has turned to her dog’s continuing recovery, with one more week remaining before the protective cone can reportedly come off.
Boothe shares a playful new update on her dog
Boothe has now shared another update as her beloved dog continues its recovery, this time adding some humor to the situation.
In her latest Instagram Story, the small dog was pictured resting on a bed while still wearing the protective cone that Boothe previously said would be needed for another week.
Appearing to jokingly speak from her dog’s perspective, Boothe captioned the photo: “This is a terrible habit I don’t think I’ll ever be able to break 😱.”

The playful post comes after Boothe revealed that the dog’s stitches had been removed but that the cone would have to remain in place a little longer.
While Boothe still has not shared what originally happened to her canine companion, the latest photo offers another glimpse at the dog’s continuing recovery — and shows that the cone is still very much part of the routine for now.
