In the charming courtyard of the Evergreen Retirement Village, a peculiar yet amusing incident unfolded that reminds us all of the playful spirit that thrives regardless of age.
It all started when three mischievous grannies were enjoying a sunny afternoon, seated comfortably on their favorite bench. As they shared stories and soaked in the serene atmosphere, an unsuspecting grandpa strolled by, minding his own business.
Not one to miss an opportunity for a bit of fun, one of the grannies called out, “We bet we can tell exactly how old you are!” The grandpa, intrigued yet skeptical, challenged the trio, asserting that there was no way they could guess correctly.
With a twinkle in her eye, one granny proposed a deal: “Sure we can! Just drop your pants and under shorts, and we can tell your exact age…” After a brief moment of hesitation and a quick glance around to check for onlookers, the grandpa complied, determined to prove the old ladies wrong.
The grannies inspected him carefully as he turned around and even had him jump up and down a few times, much to the amusement of anyone watching. Finally, they announced with confidence, “Sir, you are 84 years old!”
Astonished and a bit embarrassed, the grandpa exclaimed, “That’s exactly right! But how in the world did you guess?”
One granny replied with a mischievous smile, “We were at your birthday party yesterday! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
