Kevin Durant to leave Phoenix Suns and form another Big 3 in a very familiar place?

Kevin Durant can leave Phoneix Suns this summer, for a potential move to… Golden State Warriors. News that would bring a lot of gossip in the NBA world

Since the Phoenix Suns were eliminated in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, some media outlets like The Athletic have speculated that Kevin Durant might want to leave due to his lack of chemistry with the other stars on the team, especially Devin Booker. This has brought up the possibility of the Golden State Warriors being interested in him.

In fact, the Warriors are considered one of the top candidates to acquire Durant if he decides to request a trade from the Suns.

Although Golden State might not have Klay Thompson anymore, as he is expected to test free agency, the team could still form a powerful Big Three with Steph Curry and Draymond Green if they manage to trade for Durant.

Stephen Curry and does KD want to come back

It’s clear that “The Chef” remains key player for the Warriors, leading any offensive trio with his shooting and passing, even if KD returns. It’s worth remembering that Curry, along with Durant, Thompson, and Draymond Green, combined to win two championships and reach three NBA Finals between 2016 and 2019. During that period, it was the 2013-2014 regular season MVP who won the individual awards in the 2017 and 2018 Finals, both times against LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers.

KD is not speaking with anyone at Phoenix. And it has been this way for months, his team-mates are confused and can’t figure him out. And to be clear, KD is not making any problems or behaving badly… he is just taken to himself and he doesn’t speak to anymore. He remains professional otherwise. They say the reason for his retreat is the way he has been used on offence.

Now the old coach Frank Vogel is gone, and Phoenix have a new coach (Mike Budenholzer) and it is unknown if Durant will buy into it. One thing is for sure Durant is open to another move, and another move to Golden State remains intriguing.
