Fox News personality and comedian Kat Timpf has revealed that she is expecting her second child with husband Cameron Friscia, sharing the news directly with an audience during one of her live comedy shows.
Timpf, 37, later posted a video of the moment on Instagram, showing herself on stage before turning toward the crowd and revealing her growing baby bump.
“Well actually, I have a secret,” Timpf told the audience before making the surprise reveal.
She thanked roughly 1,500 people who attended her weekend shows for keeping the pregnancy private until she was ready to announce it publicly.
“Huge thanks to the 1,500ish besties at my shows this wknd for keeping my secret,” she wrote on Instagram. “So awesome to be the portal for a new little soul.”
Timpf brought her trademark humor to the announcement
After revealing her pregnancy, Timpf asked the audience whether they were surprised before admitting that the news had caught her off guard as well.
“Are you guys surprised? So was I,” she said.
She then joked about Friscia’s military background, telling the audience she “shouldn’t have been” surprised because she is married to a veteran.
Timpf continued the comedy routine by joking that what was supposed to be a “quick little excursion” had instead become an “18-year commitment.”
She also said she had asked her husband to get a vasectomy as a birthday present to her, adding, “I’ve had enough surgeries. It’s someone else’s turn.”
The new baby will be Timpf and Friscia’s second child after they welcomed their son in February 2025. His name has remained private.
Following the announcement, fans filled Timpf’s social media pages with congratulatory messages. Responding to one person on X, she admitted that she is terrified by the thought that “at one point I will have two toddlers.”
Her first pregnancy coincided with a cancer diagnosis
The latest family news comes after an extraordinarily difficult period in Timpf’s personal life.
In February 2025, she learned that she had breast cancer shortly before going into labor with her first child. According to the New York Post, she went into labor approximately 15 hours after receiving the diagnosis.
Her diagnosis was ductal carcinoma in situ, also known as Stage 0 breast cancer.
Timpf underwent a double mastectomy in March 2025 and was declared cancer-free the following month. She later underwent breast reconstruction surgery in July.
Reflecting on the experience, Timpf previously said she felt fortunate that the cancer had been discovered early and expressed gratitude for becoming a mother.
“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she said.
Timpf faced another painful loss this year when her father, Daniel Timpf, died unexpectedly on May 7 at age 69.
In a June Instagram post, she described how difficult the period had been, explaining that her father had supported her through her cancer diagnosis, childbirth and surgery.
Timpf and Friscia have been married since 2021
Timpf met Friscia through Raya, the membership-based dating app. They announced their engagement in August 2020 and married in a small ceremony in May 2021.
Friscia is a former Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan and was most recently working as an investment banker, according to a since-deleted LinkedIn profile cited by the New York Post.
Timpf, meanwhile, remains a familiar presence on Fox News. She regularly appears on Gutfeld! and has also appeared on The Five and Fox & Friends.
Now, after a period that brought motherhood, major surgery and the loss of her father, Timpf is preparing to welcome another child into her family.
