A room full of power figures show support for Karoline Leavitt
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was surrounded by a powerful circle of allies over the weekend, as a room filled with some of the most recognizable figures in the Trump administration gathered to celebrate her at a private baby shower.

Held at a northern Virginia golf club owned by Donald Trump, the event brought together nearly 50 guests — many of them prominent women with close ties to the administration.
From top government officials to well-known media personalities, the guest list reflected a tight-knit network rallying around one of the administration’s most visible voices.
Among those present were Attorney General Pam Bondi and Washington, DC U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, alongside Allison Lutnick and Kathryn Burgum. Rachel Campos–Duffy was also in attendance, further adding to the high-profile nature of the gathering.

The room itself reflected a blend of political influence and personal support, with colleagues and close associates coming together in a more intimate setting away from the public spotlight.
Leavitt’s immediate team from the White House press office was also well represented at the celebration. Staff members including executive assistant Kieghan Nangle, principal deputy press secretary Anna Kelly, and deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson were among those who attended.
They were joined by press assistants Micah Stopperich, Olivia Wales, and Georgia O’Neill, as well as assistant press secretary Allison Schuster and regional press secretary Liz Huston.
The turnout from her own communications team reflected a close-knit working environment within the press office, where Leavitt plays a central leadership role.

The event itself featured a pink-themed setting, complete with balloons, teddy bears, and a “sprinkle with love” display, as guests gathered to celebrate the upcoming arrival of her second child.
A growing chapter for a high-profile role
Leavitt, 28, is expecting a baby girl in May with her husband Nicholas Riccio. The couple previously welcomed their son, Niko, in July 2024.
Her pregnancy comes during what has been described as a broader wave of expectant mothers within the Trump administration, including Katie Miller, Samantha Blair, and Hayley Harrison.

Leavitt has also made history as the first pregnant White House press secretary and has stated her intention to return to the briefing room following maternity leave.
Since taking on the role at age 27 in January 2025, she has remained one of the administration’s most visible figures, frequently sharing glimpses of how she manages both her responsibilities in the White House and her family life.
