White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is continuing to give followers a glimpse into life at home with her growing family.
Just hours ago, the 28-year-old shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram showing herself holding baby daughter Viviana while standing in the nursery. The mirror selfie captured a quiet mother-daughter moment as Leavitt smiled while cradling her newborn.
The nursery featured soft pink décor, matching curtains, a crib, and a floral rug, creating a cozy setting for the family’s newest addition. Leavitt also revealed that she and her daughter were dressed in matching patriotic-themed outfits, writing: “Matching + patriotic with my girl.”

The photo is the latest family update from Leavitt, who welcomed Viviana on May 1 and has spent recent weeks enjoying maternity leave with her husband, Nicholas Riccio, and their two-year-old son, Niko.
Family Life Takes Center Stage
Since stepping away from her White House duties, Leavitt has regularly shared snapshots of family life with her followers.
Earlier this month, she posted a collection of photos reflecting on her month of May, describing it as precious time spent with her “sweet babies.” The images included moments with both Niko and Viviana, family outings, newborn cuddles, and special memories made during her first weeks as a mother of two.
Among the photos were scenes of Niko embracing his role as a big brother, as well as family trips and everyday moments at home. Leavitt also shared glimpses of life with a newborn, including early mornings fueled by coffee and breakfast preparations with her son.
The White House press secretary later posted photos from a family-friendly event hosted by Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, thanking them for organizing a special day for children and families.

Through it all, Leavitt has frequently spoken about how grateful she is for the time she has been able to spend with her children.
Balancing Motherhood and Public Service
While much of her recent social media activity has focused on family, Leavitt has also begun returning to her high-profile role in the Trump administration.
This week, she accompanied President Donald Trump on a trip to Pennsylvania, marking one of her most visible appearances since giving birth. Photographs showed Leavitt smiling and waving as she arrived with the president for an event at a Mack Trucks facility.

Her return to work comes after several weeks largely devoted to family life and caring for newborn Viviana.
Even as she returns to the spotlight, however, her latest social media posts show that family remains at the center of her attention. From special moments with Niko to quiet afternoons with baby Viviana, Leavitt continues to share the milestones and memories that have made her first weeks as a mother of two especially meaningful.
The newest photo from the nursery is another reminder that while she may be back on the national stage, she is still savoring every moment with her growing family.
