Gisele Bündchen has given followers an uncommon look into her life away from the spotlight by sharing a collection of family photos from a recent trip to Tahiti alongside her husband, Joaquim Valente, their young son, and her two older children.
The images, posted to Instagram, offered one of the clearest glimpses yet of Bündchen’s family life with Valente following the couple’s private wedding late last year.
Among the photos, the 45-year-old model was seen spending time with the couple’s one-year-old son, who was born in February 2025. One image showed Bündchen walking into the shallow ocean while holding the toddler’s hand, while another captured the family enjoying live music together.
Additional moments from the vacation featured Valente in the water with their son, as well as Bündchen wearing a floral headpiece and necklace during the tropical getaway. In the caption accompanying the post, she wrote: “What a special place!☀️✨ Que lugar especial!”
Family vacation highlights
The trip also included Bündchen’s children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, whom she shares with former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
Several photos highlighted the siblings spending time with their younger brother. Vivian embraced the toddler during a boat ride, while Benjamin was also photographed holding him as the family enjoyed the scenery around the island.
The vacation album also documented a variety of family activities, including bike rides, walks through the island, evenings beneath star-filled skies, and quiet moments by the shore. Bündchen also shared photos of local fruit, meals, and flowers she gathered during the visit.
A new chapter after her divorce
The family update comes nearly four years after Bündchen and Brady finalized their divorce in October 2022 following 13 years of marriage.
According to Daily Mail, Bündchen and Valente obtained a marriage license on December 1 before privately marrying two days later at their Surfside, Florida, home. At the time, Page Six reported that a source said Valente was “thrilled they finally tied the knot after having a kid together,” while TMZ reported that close family members attended the ceremony.
The couple first met in December 2021 after Bündchen and her children began training at Valente’s jiu-jitsu academy. Their relationship was publicly confirmed in 2024.
Speaking previously to The New York Times about the relationship, Bündchen said: “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
Co-parenting with Tom Brady
Bündchen welcomed her first child with Valente in February last year and has since been seen wearing her wedding band during public appearances, including at a Garnier event in Miami in March.
In June, she marked Father’s Day with a public tribute to Valente on Instagram, thanking him for the example he sets and describing him as “an incredible role model.” She concluded the message by expressing gratitude for him and wishing fathers everywhere a happy Father’s Day.
Meanwhile, reports about Bündchen’s relationship with Brady have suggested that the former couple now primarily communicate regarding their children. According to Us Weekly, one source said they speak mainly about co-parenting, while another claimed their lives now largely move in separate social circles following their divorce.
Brady, who also shares son Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan, publicly praised both Bündchen and Moynahan in a Mother’s Day message earlier this year, describing them as “amazing” mothers.
