Fox News launches all-female show The Girls with Kat Timpf, Harris Faulkner and Rachel Campos-Duffy

Fox News is expanding its digital lineup with a new weekly program built around a rotating group of women from across news, politics, sports, comedy and culture.

The new show, The Girls, will debut Thursday and feature candid conversations among a changing panel of co-hosts. The opening episode brings together Kat Timpf, Harris Faulkner, Rachel Campos-Duffy, Melissa DeRosa and former ESPN host Samantha Ponder.

Fox says the program will be unscripted, with discussions ranging from politics and pop culture to marriage, parenting, money, relationships, faith and careers.

New episodes will be released every Thursday at 10 a.m. across Fox News Digital, YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Fox brings together a rotating group of familiar faces

Rather than relying on the same permanent panel each week, The Girls will feature different combinations of women and perspectives.

Timpf is a familiar presence on Gutfeld!, while Faulkner anchors her own programming on Fox News. Campos-Duffy co-hosts Fox & Friends Weekend and is married to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

The debut episode also includes DeRosa, a newly announced Fox News contributor who previously served as secretary to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, along with Ponder.

Fox News Digital and New Media President Porter Berry described the podcast as a natural extension of the company’s growing digital programming.

“‘The Girls’ is a natural addition to our growing podcast portfolio, and we’re thrilled to continue expanding our slate of distinctive shows that complement our existing lineup while creating new opportunities for our audience to engage with our content,” Berry said.

Megan Albano, executive vice president of morning programming and program development, said Fox wanted a format capable of showcasing the personalities and viewpoints of women from both inside and outside the network.

Albano described the concept as a “no-holds-barred format” designed to capture the authenticity of the women taking part.

Rachel Campos-Duffy takes aim at The View

While promoting the new project, Campos-Duffy made clear that she sees The Girls as offering something different from The View.

“Everyone’s sick of The View,” she said in a promotional video, arguing that its hosts frequently share similar opinions.

Campos-Duffy said she wanted the Fox program to resemble the type of conversations women have with their own friends.

“Wouldn’t it be great if there was a show where you could watch a conversation a lot like the conversations that you have with your girlfriends,” she said.

She explained that the weekly panel would tackle the biggest topics of the moment with women viewers might actually want to spend time with.

Campos-Duffy also promised discussions covering everything from current events and pop culture to faith and parenting, while saying the show would feature “real conversations.”

She went further by contrasting the new program with what she characterized as the views of “rich Manhattan ladies.”

The first episode is already generating excitement

After filming the debut installment, Faulkner teased the atmosphere inside the studio in a clip shared by the show’s official Instagram account.

“So much fun,” she said. “That conversation… yeah it was interesting.”

Faulkner added that the group had been having “the best time” and suggested viewers would enjoy what they had recorded.

DeRosa also celebrated joining Fox News as a contributor and becoming part of the new project, describing The Girls as a show bringing together different female voices across news, politics, sports, comedy and culture.

The launch also comes shortly after Timpf revealed that she is expecting her second child with husband Cameron Friscia.

Timpf shared the pregnancy news during a stand-up performance before later posting the announcement to Instagram. She and Friscia married in May 2021 and welcomed their first child, a son, in February 2025.

With a rotating cast, an unscripted format and a broad mix of subjects, Fox is positioning The Girls as a weekly space for outspoken conversation among women with very different professional and personal backgrounds.

The first episode premieres Thursday at 10 a.m. on Fox News Digital and major podcast platforms.
