While it is expected that the Serbian will win another award, the legendary Charles Barkley stated in a podcast that Jokić is the best foreign player to have ever played in the NBA. “Before Jokić arrived, Dirk Nowitzki was considered the best foreign player in the entire history of the NBA. I think Denver will defend the title,” said Sir Charles.
It’s important to note that other prominent foreign players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Dončić, and Joel Embiid, who have also been the face of the NBA and contenders for both the MVP and the NBA Championship in recent years, are left out of this particular praise.
Charles Barkley is a big fan of Jokić, admiring his style and professionalism, which sets him apart in Barkley’s view.
