The UEFA has announced the schedule for the home and away fixtures in the initial knockout round: All Italian teams will have their first-leg matches played at home.
After the Round of 16 draw in Nyon, now the dates are also available: the first Italian team to debut in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 will be Lazio, who will face Bayern Munich at the Olimpico on Wednesday, the 14th. The following week, it will be Inter‘s turn (on Tuesday, the 20th, at San Siro) against Atletico Madrid, and Napoli (on Wednesday, the 21st, at the Maradona) against Barcelona.
Looking at the return legs: Lazio will play on Bayern Munich’s field on Tuesday, March 5th, Napoli will be on stage in Barcelona on Tuesday, March 12th, while Inter will face Simeone’s men at the Metropolitano on Wednesday, March 13th.
