On Monday evening in Milan, the eleventh edition of the AIC Football Grand Gala took place, a highly anticipated event where the best male and female footballers of the 2022-2023 season get honored.
Napoli dominated the awards, the club was voted as the best in Italy, Victor Osimhen won the best player award, while Luciano Spalletti was voted the best coach of the year.
Awards were also given to the best referee (Daniele Orsato) and the best young player from the past Serie B season (Giovanni Fabbian).
Fans voted for the most beautiful goal of the last championship: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in Napoli-Atalanta on March 11, 2023.
In the league’s Top 11, there were only players from Napoli (5), Inter (3), and Milan (3).
